A ton of cute baby photos

Okay, so since I'm a bad blogger, I'm just posting a ton of cute baby photos in this post.  It's not very organized, but I have more important things to tend to now.  :)
Here is Shalom on her rug at 2 weeks old:
Uncle Dan, Aunt Melody, and cousin Nicolo came to visit:
 Aunt Melody:
Cousin Nicolo is so big compared to Shalom!  He's a happy boy:

Seth reading to Shalom from the storybook Bible:
Shalom in her first cloth diaper and the sweater that Eileen made for her:
Up close of the sweater, so sweet!
Fafa and Fama Haak (that's grandpa and grandma in Danish) came to visit for a few days before they left for Africa:
 Fafa held the baby non-stop:
On the rug with Fama's hands:
First bath!  It was a success, she liked it and got clean:
Me, not really knowing what I'm doing:
Going for a walk in the moby wrap:
Her mother's daughter in animal prints:
 Ruffle butt:
One of my faves, with the turban that Diana Trondsen made for us!  Thanks Diana!
Laying on the blanket from Will and Trish that Bev made.  Thanks Bev!
Up close on the blanket, too cute:
We've been having a blast the last 3.5 weeks watching her grow and change before our eyes.  She's already chubbing up quite a bit!  We're figuring her out more and more each day, but there are still many mysteries of babyhood to decipher.
Seth had 3 weeks off work which was sooooo nice.  He's back at work this week and we are on our own.  I am fortunate that Shalom likes the moby wrap so that I can still use my hands for a few chunks of time during the day.  We spend a lot of the day just looking at each other, which is truly the best. We are having a great time growing as a family together.

She's here!

Well, in case you hadn't heard already, we had our baby!  Shalom Rose Haak was born on May 25th, 2012 at 1:35am at Long Beach Memorial hospital.  She was 6 lbs 3 oz and 19 inches long.  She's healthy and happy and I am on the road to recovery.  Here are some photos from the hospital.  Kate came down and stayed with us for a few days which was such a blessing and a help.  Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of her with the baby!  She was snapping a bunch of us the whole time!  Thanks Kate!
Day one:
Dad cleaning up the meconium poop:
Mom and Shalom doing some skin to skin bonding:
Dad having some much needed coffee on day 2:

So sleepy:
First family photo before leaving the hospital:

Visitors!  The Whitsel family came to visit in the hospital:
The McMillans came for a visit too:
Headed home from the hospital:
Looking adorable with her eyes open:

My dad and Michele came to visit the day after we got home from the hospital:
